Registration in the 2nd year of the thesis and beyond is conditional on the submission of documents relating to the Comité de Suivi Individuel (CSI).

GOOD TO KNOW

"Registration must be renewed at the beginning of each academic year." (Article 11 of the Order of May 25, 2016)
→ If you defend your thesis before December 31, you do not need to re-register.
→ Except in exceptional cases, no suspension or interruption can be granted between the first registration and graduation.
→ Any doctoral student who has not proceeded with his administrative re-registration before the deadline will no longer be allowed to re-register or to defend. They will be considered as having resigned.
→ Conversely, any person wishing to stop his/her thesis must inform the Doctoral School by a letter motivating his/her decision and signed by the doctoral student and the thesis director.
Do not wait until the last moment to register!

PEDAGOGICAL REGISTRATION

Registration to ED ISCE

1- Once your ISC has taken place, declare your re-registration via your ADUM account, and update your profile.
2- Print your re-registration file entitled "Rapport de Suivi de Thèse" (RST), and have it signed by the thesis and laboratory directors.
Be carefull ! The signature process can take several weeks. Make sure to respect the registration deadlines.
3- Transmit to the ED for approval by the ED ISCE management.

According to the years:

- From the 2nd year: register the training courses and deposit the certificates on the ADUM.
- From the 3rd year: if your thesis is written in article format, your thesis director must make the request by a specific letter attached to your RST. If the request is made after the re-registration, it may be refused. We strongly advise you to read the recommendations on this derogatory thesis writing.
- From the 4th year onwards: the RST includes a request for a derogation in which the doctoral student and the thesis director must justify exceeding the normal duration of the thesis (3 years) and specify the method of financing the additional year.

Once your RST has been signed by the doctoral school direction, EDISCE will send your authorization to register to the Doctoral College's schooling service which will contact you by e-mail for the rest of the procedure.
